But there was so much more. One in particular which became a benchmark for me was Genesis. SO, you find yourself questioning your choice of wood or metal when building in your mind the perfect snare. One thing to always remember is that ANY snare sound you hear MAY be manufactured, as in produced. Recorded through a high end system and tweaked by an engineer.

I have watched, through Facebook, musicians change bands rapidly. You almost need a scorecard to keep up with the changes. Reminds me of the band news page in the old Night Rock newspaper. Even saw my name in there a couple of times.

But the question is, why is this happening? Why are so many bands changing partners? They swap bass players or singers, then play for a couple of months, and you see another change. Was the combination not working. Or was the band not progressing. Not gaining ground. I would blame the economy.

Seriously, I do have a great contact address for xxxxx at NBC Universal, xxxx at Tellabs, xxxx at Bank of America and xxxxx at BlackmanKallick. Sweet, don't you think? If I was looking to hack a corporation I would thank my friends for the suggestion. Or if I knew one of the people in the list of email address and was attracted to them, I could now move forward with my advances. OR if you pissed me off, I can start a smear campaign. COOL!

If Elvis were alive and happened to be walking down the street of your house and knocked on your door, you would certainly give him a moment of respect just for his overall accomplishment. But if the drummer of band XbarX happened to be walking down the street of your house and knocked on your door you would probably wonder if you had ordered a pizza. Is that true? Is this how we treat each other?
